Mrs Ang holds both the ACCA and CPA qualifications, and graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from National University of Singapore. She lecturered at Ngee Ann Polytechnic for 9 years and taught the Financial and Cost Management modules in the Accountancy and Business Studies Diplomas. A three-time nominee, she was conferred the Academic Award (Teaching) in the year 2004. She has also accumulated 10 years of accounting and finance working experience with an MNC, a financial services company and a public listed conglomerate, involved in financial/investment analysis, internal audits, process/systems re-engineering and the computerisation of an accounting department, besides handling functional accounting responsibilities. She has extensive experience as an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers and several internationally renowned banks in Melbourne, Hong Kong and Singapore. Mui Kim graduated with an accountancy degree from National University of Singapore with honours. She is a CPA and holds an MBA postgraduate degree from University of Southern Queensland, Australia. She has been an associate lecturer with SIM since 1998, lecturing on auditing, accounting and finance subjects and has trained executives from major corporations.
