Working together as partners since 2010, this agreement marks the third renewal of the partnership between Murdoch University and Kaplan, with the first two being signed in 2010 and 2015. Signed by Dr. Susie Khoo, President of Kaplan Singapore, Professor Andrew Deeks, Vice-Chancellor of Murdoch University, and Professor Simon McKirdy, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Global Engagement, Murdoch University, this agreement will expand educational offerings to include new Degree programmes in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) and sustainability. Tailored to support Singapore's STEM and Green Economy ambitions, the new programmes will equip students with the relevant skills to thrive in a future-oriented global environment. “I chose to study at University College Dublin (UCD) due to its reputation and was fascinated by the quality of its Degree programmes and lecturers. Both UCD’s local and international fly-in lecturers at Kaplan have excellent experiences, and they have provided great case studies and analyses during the programme.    During my time at Kaplan, I received tremendous help from the local lecturers. Not only were they both supportive and approachable, they also provided me with detailed tips to help me understand concepts. The Programme Management team at Kaplan are also attentive and responsible.     I pursued the Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) (Management) Degree as Management is an essential aspect of every organisation. During the programme, I came to realise that Management involves various skills, including the utilisation of mathematical models for tasks like resource allocation, inventory management, and project management. These skills play a crucial role in facilitating effective planning and enhancing overall efficiency.    While helping out in my family business, I found that the UCD programme has enhanced my skills in providing effective and efficient communication, building relations with potential business partners and managing projects in a structured way.
