"As I live in Bintan, Indonesia, I travelled to Singapore quite often and decided to study here as well. Kaplan Singapore was recommended to me by friends. I chose it because of its very good reputation, facilities such as its library and canteen, and its location in town with an MRT station nearby. In addition, my management degree programme also comes from the well-known University College Dublin.

Since enrolling, I have learnt quite a lot that is relevant to the outside corporate world, such as human resource management, cross culture management and organisation management, all of which can be applied to real life. Several lecturers are also fun and friendly, which makes the learning process interesting and easy. Finally, I find the lectures well-prepared and the material sufficient for us to fully understand the subject being taught."

Kaplan played a big part in my current career path as my company recognised my potential and ability to contribute.  And I was offered a promotion to be a custom program engineer with Celestica Electronics upon graduation.

"I came to Singapore to study as it is safe, and my parents believe that Singapore is the best choice for me. It is also near my country, so my parents can come here anytime they like.

While I did consider other private institutions initially, I came to Kaplan Singapore as I feel it offers more specialised programmes. Kaplan's programmes are more focused on relevant subjects, and also save us a lot of time. For example, I received my Diploma in Banking, Securities and Investment Management from KHEA before going on to my degree. The diploma modules were tough and not easy to pass - my classmates and I needed to work hard. But my friend who is already working said that the diploma programme was useful as it is accredited by the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, a well-known professional body in the United Kingdom.

Having secured my diploma, I am now completing my Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University College Dublin (UCD). I made the decision to continue my studies at Kaplan Singapore as I knew UCD is recognised and the quality of education is high. The lecturers are professional and supportive, and while some may be tougher than others, all of them teach us with the ultimate aim of getting us to pass our subjects and do well. Thanks to my Kaplan experience, I have learnt many things I did not know previously. I hope to get good grades, as I would like to work in an international bank in Singapore after graduation."

Pung Wei Dong Jozua - ACCA F4 1st in Singapore

A BIG THANK YOU to Kaplan for their fantastic lecturers especially, Mr Dennis Sim (F4) and their 'Must Have' study materials. F4 - Law, may seem challenging, I did not expect to top the paper at all. However these are a few pointers for F4 to make scoring the paper possible:
    1) Listen in class and take down the lecturer's alternative explanations.
    2) From Kaplan textbooks, lecture notes and exam kit, make your own mind maps, notes etc. Whatever that helps! (My mind map was 2m x 2m on my room's wall).
    3) Do the exam kit MORE than ONCE (I did it about 20-30 times).  I believe that with the amount of support Kaplan offers every student can achieve excellence.

With a positive attitude, determination and sufficient practices, you can do it too with Kaplan.

The flexible schedule provided by Kaplan and Royal Holloway allowed me to pursue an internship at a local technology firm as a business analyst intern, which subsequently landed me a full-time offer. Furthermore, upon graduation, I was accepted into the MSc programme with Nanyang Technological University.
