Dr Susie Khoo

Dr. Susie Khoo has 25 years of verifiable success and proven executive management track record in the private higher education industry. She has held senior leadership roles in both academic and operational capacities at various institutions. In her last role as the Chief Executive Officer of Ngee Ann Academy, she led the transformation and rapid growth of the institution that generated both intrinsic and economic values to the bottom line of the company. One of the key highlights of her career was achieving four prestigious and top-ranking overseas university partnerships within the first year of establishing Ngee Ann Academy.
Dr. Khoo’s knowledge and practical experience are aligned with Kaplan's strategic vision to be a student-centred institution that embraces quality, diversity and inclusion. As the President of Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Dr. Khoo leads the Kaplan team in Singapore to enhance Kaplan's offering to further the role Kaplan plays in delivering innovative and quality education opportunities for Singaporean and international students alike.
Dr. Khoo earned her Bachelor’s degree in Politics and Economics as well as a Master’s degree in Applied Economics from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Additionally, she also holds a postgraduate qualification in Education from National Institute of Education (NIE) in Singapore, a Master of Business Administration from Western Sydney University (WSU), and Doctor of Business Administration from University of Newcastle, Australia (UON).
