Diploma Education Grant Terms and Conditions

• The Education Grant is applicable for all Advanced Diploma programmes, Diploma programmes and Foundation Diploma programmes offered by Kaplan.
• The Education Grant ranges from S$200 to S$500 depending on the programme selected (refer to Table 1).
• The Education Grant is valid for intakes from 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2023 for Part-Time students only.
• The Education Grant is not applicable to international students.
• The Education Grant amount will be automatically deducted from the student’s last fee instalment payment for the programme. The student must pay the rest of the programme fee according to the applicable instalment payment schedule.
• The Education Grant specified is exclusive to selected programmes and not transferable to another intake.
• A student who receives the Education Grant will not be entitled to any other rebates, promotions and offers (except for a 50% application fee waiver).
• A student who is eligible for the Education Grant and is entitled to a fee adjustment on account of being exempted from a module (a “fee adjustment”) will receive either the fee adjustment or the Education Grant, whichever is higher. No student will be entitled to both a fee adjustment and the Education Grant.
• The Education Grant is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
• The Education Grant will be forfeited if the student withdraws from, defers or fails to complete the programme.
• The Education Grant may be withdrawn at any time if the Education Grant holder’s progress or behaviour is deemed unsatisfactory, as determined at the reasonable discretion of Kaplan, including if the awardee breaches or is subsequently found to have breached any applicable law, does not exemplify conduct or performance (whether academic or others) of a deserving student and/or any disciplinary action is taken against the awardee.
• If the Education Grant is forfeited or withdrawn for any reason, the awardee will not be eligible for any further subsequent award of the Grant.
• Kaplan reserve the rights to amend, suspend or discontinue this Education Grant at any time without notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Kaplan will be final and binding.

• The Referral Reward is applicable to both existing Kaplan students and alumni who refer referees (new students) to pursue a Preparatory Course for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examination, Foundation Diploma programme or Diploma programme.
   
• The Referral Reward ranges from S$100 to S$300 depending on the programme selected by the referee (refer to Table 3).
   
• The Referral Reward is valid for referrers (existing students and alumni) when the referees enrol for intakes from 1 Jul to 31 Dec 2023 for both Full-Time and Part-Time students.
   
• The names of both the referrer and referee must be indicated clearly on the Application Form.
   
• The Referral Reward is not applicable to international students.
   
• The Referral Reward will be issued to the referrer after the referee has made the first instalment payment of the programme fee and commenced his/her programme. Both the referrer and the referee must not have any outstanding payment with Kaplan for the referral fee to be disbursed.
   
• The referrer will not be entitled to the Referral Reward if the referee is an existing Kaplan alumnus and has been awarded the Progression Rebate at the point of enrolment.
   
• All manner of Referral Reward is not applicable to current employees and ex-employees of Kaplan.
   
• Kaplan reserves the rights to amend, suspend or discontinue this Referral Reward at any time without notice. In the event of any dispute, the decision of Kaplan will be final and binding.
