Industry: Royal Holloway, University of London, 1st Class Honours Graduate (2020)
Programme taken: Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Management with International Business (Top-up)
On top of the HR knowledge I apply in my current job, I am also passionate about International Business. Therefore, I chose to study a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Management with International Business (Top-up) Degree programme with Royal Holloway, University of London as it offered an opportunity for me to expand my knowledge about different business management practices in various countries and widen my career path by not limiting myself to a single specialisation. Also, Royal Holloway, University of London is highly regarded for its Business and Management faculty.
I feel that the Royal Holloway, University of London and Kaplan lecturers who taught us are meticulous and patient. They always provide their full support to us and will spend time after class to explain to us and answer our queries until we understand concepts. They also use real-life examples and share their experiences with us, allowing us to better understand specific modules or topics and how to apply them in our work.
Time management and self-discipline are important lessons I’ve learned studying this programme part-time, resulting in me being able to perform my job more effectively and efficiently within a tight timeline. Upon completing this programme, I found a new job as an HR Executive.
