Dr. Mohamed Fadhil
Head of School of Business, Law, and Communications

 

With more than two decades of experience across higher education, research, curriculum development, and professional training, Dr. Mohamed Fadhil is an educator, researcher, and academic leader committed to creating meaningful and inclusive learning experiences for diverse learners.

He currently serves as Head of School of Business, Law, and Communications at Kaplan Higher Education Academy, where he provides academic leadership across programmes and contributes to strengthening curriculum, teaching and learning, student support, and academic quality. Despite his leadership responsibilities, he remains closely connected to the classroom, teaching and providing support and dissertation supervision to undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral students.

Dr. Mohamed Fadhil is also the Deputy Chair of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Applied Learning and Teaching (JALT). In this role, he contributes to the journal's editorial direction, peer-review processes, and the advancement of scholarship in higher education. His academic work extends beyond editorial leadership: he is an active researcher and peer reviewer whose publications and research engage with contemporary issues ranging from human flourishing and wellbeing to the application of artificial intelligence in higher education.

A strong advocate for academic rigour and continuous improvement, Dr. Mohamed Fadhil also contributes to academic governance and institutional initiatives involving curriculum development, assessment, academic integrity, student intervention, and teaching and learning. These responsibilities allow him to bring together perspectives from academic leadership, teaching, research, and student support.

At the heart of his work is a simple belief: education should do more than transmit knowledge – it should encourage curiosity, critical thinking, reflection, and the confidence to navigate an increasingly complex world. His career reflects an ongoing commitment to connecting scholarship with practice and creating learning environments in which both students and educators can grow.
