Dr. Maylyn Tan
Executive Dean (Academic)

 

Dr. Maylyn Tan is an accomplished higher education leader with extensive experience in academic strategy, faculty development, and learning design.

Before joining Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Dr. Tan served as the founding head of the academic development function and established the social entrepreneurship centre in a private education institution, where she spearheaded initiatives in faculty talent, social innovation, and technology-enhanced learning.

She also contributed significantly to institutional strategy and social impact, aligning educational excellence with broader organisational goals.

As Executive Dean (Academic), Dr. Tan provides vision and leadership in the planning and delivery of Kaplan’s academic programs, ensuring quality assurance, curriculum innovation, and student success across all faculties and academic services. She is committed to building a culture of teaching and service excellence, while strengthening stakeholder engagement with students, industry, and partners.
