Reasons to pursue an MBA Degree:

    • Career development
    • Access to an extensive business network
    • Achieve a personal goal

Position yourself for corporate success with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree from Northumbria University.

The philosophy of the programme derives from the principles of reflective practice and experiential learning. You will engage with principles and theories of business, management and organisation, which will provide you with frameworks for analysing, critiquing, reflecting on and reviewing existing individual and organisational practices.

You will also develop new knowledge and skills, which will encourage enhanced and more appropriate practices. The outcome of this process will be a newfound appreciation for building strategic capabilities and understanding contemporary management and organisational issues in the context of change. The development of students as managers and leaders, to maximise the performance of the organisation, underpins this philosophy.

    Graduation & Degree Awarded

Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Northumbria University, United Kingdom.

SUCCESS STORIES
NU_Lee Ang Seng

The modules covered were very relevant and were the most beneficial part of the programme to me, and they helped me gain the knowledge necessary to lead my business. The programme allowed me to apply what I had learned in real work situations, such as in managing people, financial management and strategy planning.

My advice to those who are thinking of taking up an MBA is: don’t think, just do. Taking up an MBA is not just a career-propelling act, but has taught me to prioritise the things I do daily while advancing my knowledge and challenging what I thought I knew, having managed a business for a decade. Furthermore, have an open mind and practice good time management while learning, re-learning and challenging yourself to greater heights.
