Looking to be better qualified and to secure my future, I decided to enrol in the Diploma in Accountancy programme at Kaplan. This programme has enhanced my job performance working in Treasury, where I oversee the funds needed for the company’s operations and liaise with our bank’s relationship managers. Two modules I found helpful were Corporate Finance and Planning, and Financial Accounting. Through the Diploma programme, I learnt the importance of forward planning with regard to cash flow and how far ahead a company should plan in order to ensure smooth operations. Upon attaining my Diploma, I was given a salary increment.  

Despite having to juggle my work and my studies, I found that the flexibility of the classes helped me manage both my academics and work commitments, making the programme suitable and beneficial for working adults like me. Furthermore, completing the Kaplan Diploma programme allowed me to transition to a Degree pathway, and I am now pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from Murdoch University at Kaplan.

Human Resource Management handles one of the most valuable resources of a company: its employees. In order to maximise the benefits that each employee brings to the organisation, it means facing new and exciting challenges every day. This is why I chose to enrol in a Diploma programme in Human Resource Management.  

This Diploma programme has equipped me with marketable skills such as adaptability, financial accounting and organisational growth. Not only did the knowledge I gained from this Diploma programme improve my efficiency at work, but it has also opened doors for future career advancements. As my company believes in the value of further eduvcation and professional growth, I was assigned new responsibilities. Currently, I am overseeing all accounting and payroll management, in addition to the hiring process.  

While balancing both work and studies could be a concern for some, I found that the programme at Kaplan was rather well-balanced. Furthermore, Kaplan is dedicated to providing students with a high quality education through its wide variety of programme offerings and exceptional approaches to teaching.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in another major and decided to take up the Kaplan Diploma as it offered me the major that I wanted, had time tables that fit my work schedule and reasonable programme fees. Concepts that I learnt from my Accounting, Commercial Law and Human Resource Management modules could be applied to the real world, and upon completion of my Kaplan Diploma, I was given a promotion to Assistant Manager at my workplace.  

While it was not easy juggling work, studies and being a parent at the same time, I enjoyed my study experience with Kaplan as I found my programme very interesting. All in all, I had fun in the Kaplan Diploma programme and would recommend the school to anyone who is looking to take up part-time studies as it offers flexible hours for working adults.

I chose to enrol in the Diploma in Information Technology (IT) with Kaplan as I have always been interested in how technology works. Upon graduating from this programme, I knew I had to further my studies to expand my knowledge and decided to enrol at Murdoch University. My Kaplan Diploma granted me exemptions and I could proceed straight to Year 2 of the Degree programme.

Pursuing this Degree has equipped me with niche skills that are necessary to stand out professionally. Some of the lessons applicable to my career include practical cyber security and IT knowledge. Furthermore, I was also taught critical analysis and problem-solving skills and learned how to tackle problems in the real world independently.

I had plenty to learn at the University, and my Degree enabled me to secure my job. In fact, I have recommended Murdoch University to my best friend who will be enrolling in 2023.

My journey from a Diploma to a Degree has been an incredibly rewarding experience, and Kaplan played a pivotal role in making this transition smooth and successful. After spending years in the workforce with only an A-Level certificate, I always knew I wanted to pursue a Degree but was unsure how to balance it with my work commitments.  

In 2020, I decided to enrol in a Kaplan Diploma programme to lay the foundation for my Degree. The well-planned study schedule and strong administrative support made it easier to balance my studies with work. The knowledge and skills I gained through the programme, especially in areas I was unfamiliar with, were also essential in preparing me for the challenges of my Degree.  

Once I completed my Diploma, I was eager to attain a Degree and I eventually found the right opportunity to begin my Bachelor of Business Studies in Business Analytics with University College Dublin (UCD). The continued administrative support from Kaplan was invaluable, and I particularly appreciated UCD’s focused study schedule, which allowed me to concentrate on intensive, short-term modules while still balancing work and revision time.  

Thanks to the comprehensive support offered at Kaplan, I was able to seamlessly transition from Diploma to Degree, and achieve my goal of graduating with First Class Honours.

I was working in the travel industry when COVID-19 hit and hence, I decided to take the downtime to upskill. I decided to major in Legal Studies to develop a deeper understanding, especially in Family Law and Will Writing. 

I chose to take up a Kaplan Diploma as it offered a full-time programme that fits my schedule. In addition, I have heard good reviews on the programme structure and lecturers. During my online classes, my lecturers went to great lengths to involve us in the lessons, and I could feel the warmth and sincerity despite the lack of face-to-face interactions.  

As an entrepreneur and a parent of a young child, I had to study and complete my assignments until the wee hours of the morning. However, the programme has benefitted me greatly in my work as I also run a Will Writing consultancy service for the Muslim community. The Family Law and Wills & Estate modules have helped me to advise my clients better as I am now able to align Muslim Law to Civil Law.  

I took up my Kaplan Diploma programme during the peak of the pandemic and despite having all my lessons conducted online, I had an enjoyable and fulfilling time learning from the lecturers at Kaplan and would recommend this programme to others.
