    About the Programme

An education grant of S$3,270 is available to local applicants for the January 2025 intake of this programme. Please contact our programme consultant for more information.

The Bachelor of Science Nursing (Top-up) Degree encourages students to challenge their existing beliefs about healthcare and nursing from a national, international, and global perspective, and to formulate and justify viewpoints as appropriate.

Students will locate, evaluate, and apply evidence required to provide ethical, context-appropriate nursing practice and leadership to benefit patients and healthcare services. By being reflective and having a reflexive awareness, students will learn to share and debate different perspectives on healthcare with a community of practice and wider audiences through verbal and written communication methods. In addition, this programme promotes an ability to collaborate effectively and to support nursing peers by becoming members of a Learning Community within a multicultural study environment.

At the end of the programme, graduates will be ready to extend this support as they will have developed the skills and knowledge equipping them to teach and support learners in practice. Graduates will be proficient as lifelong learners, and apply transferable knowledge and skills to progress their nursing practice and careers as graduate nurses.
