About the Programme
An education grant of S$1,090 is available to local applicants for the 2024 intakes of this programme. Please contact our Programme Consultant for more information.
This Bachelor of Business Studies programme is aimed at those wishing to develop a career in Business and particularly in an area related to Finance and Financial Services. It provides students with the key finance knowledge and theory as well as a strong grounding in the key management disciplines, including strategy, marketing and operations management. This enables students to understand the discipline of finance within the wider business, giving a managerial insight into key business functions.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) (Finance) from University College Dublin, Ireland.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in Ireland.

Admission CriteriaAcademic Requirements
This Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:
- Polytechnic Diploma
- Kaplan Diploma
- Equivalent qualifications awarded by other Singapore-registered Private Education Institutions
- Other private and/or foreign equivalent qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
English Language Requirements- Applicants should possess a Diploma from a local Polytechnic or a Private Education Institution where English is the sole medium of instruction; OR
- IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent; OR
- TOEFL of 600 (or 250 in the Computer-based Exam) or equivalent
- Applicants are required to meet the University’s English language requirement. Click here for more information.
Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge.
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
Working Experience- If the academic requirements are not met, applicants with a minimum of 3 years of working experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An interview will be conducted by University Admissions to determine the suitability into the programme based on the comparability between the entry requirements and the knowledge and capabilities demonstrated through the work experience.
