    About the Programme

    This Bachelor of Business Studies programme is aimed at those wishing to develop a career in Business and particularly in an area related to Finance and Financial Services. It provides students with the key finance knowledge and theory as well as a strong grounding in the key management disciplines, including strategy, marketing and operations management. This enables students to understand the discipline of finance within the wider business, giving a managerial insight into key business functions.

     

    Graduation & Degree Awarded

    Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Business Studies (Honours) (Finance) from University College Dublin, Ireland.

    The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in Ireland.

    Academic Requirements

    This Degree programme accepts the following qualifications, which includes:

    • Polytechnic Diploma
    • Kaplan Diploma
    • Equivalent qualifications awarded by other Singapore-registered Private Education Institutions
    • Other private and/or foreign equivalent qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
    English Language Requirements
    • Applicants should possess a Diploma from a local Polytechnic or a Private Education Institution where English is the sole medium of instruction; OR
    • IELTS of 6.5 or equivalent; OR
    • TOEFL of 600 (or 250 in the Computer-based Exam) or equivalent
