Dr. Selina Tang
Head of School (School of Social & Health Sciences)
Dr. Selina Tang is an established academic and educator with more than 20 years of experience in psychology education, curriculum innovation, and youth mental health research.
Prior to her appointment at Kaplan Higher Education Academy, Dr. Tang served in senior academic leadership roles and contributed extensively to curriculum development, student engagement, and research initiatives in one of Singapore’s Institutes of Higher Learning. In that role, she played a key part in leading academic initiatives and supporting institutional priorities.
Beyond her teaching and leadership roles, Dr. Tang has made significant contributions to youth mental health initiatives. She previously served on the Research Panel of the Singapore Children’s Society and continues to collaborate with Limitless Singapore on research projects that explore barriers to help-seeking among young people.
As Head of School (School of Social & Health Sciences), Dr. Tang is dedicated to advancing student success and academic quality through research-informed teaching, applied learning opportunities, and meaningful community engagement. She remains committed to integrating her expertise in psychology and youth development into higher education practice, promoting teaching excellence and creating meaningful impact for students, faculty, and partners.
