Hackathon: AI FOR IMPACT 2026

Join AI FOR IMPACT 2026, Kaplan Singapore's inaugural Faculty–Student AI Solution Hackathon.

Work with your lecturer and teammates to develop an AI-powered solution that addresses a real-world problem. Your solution could be:

• A web application
• An AI workflow or automation
• An AI image or video generation platform
• A creative media solution
• A multimodal AI application combining text, images, audio and video
• Combination of all the above

Form Your Team

Each team should have:

• 3–5 students
• 1 Kaplan Singapore adjunct lecturer (mentor)
• Optional industry expert

Cross-disciplinary teams are encouraged!

Competition Journey

• 1–12 October – Registration and proposal submission (registration period has been extended) 
• 29 September – Team proposal pitching and selection
• Early October – AI coding workshop
• 2–3 November – Live AI Hackathon and Grand Finals

Shortlisted participants will gain hands-on experience from Kaplan (Singapore) and Google on AI vibe coding application development, responsible AI and interdisciplinary collaboration.
