Psychology can change lives for the better. In this Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology (Top-up) programme, you will study the mind and behaviour, examine how people think, act, and feel and take your first steps towards a career that really matters.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology from University of Portsmouth, United Kingdom.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

Admission CriteriaAcademic Requirements
The Bachelor of Science with Honours in Psychology (Top-up) programme accepts applicants who meet at least one of the following entry qualifications:
Year 2 Entry
- Polytechnic Diploma; OR
- Kaplan Diploma; OR
- Other Private Diplomas or foreign qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Year 3 Entry
- Polytechnic Diploma in relevant discipline with work experience; OR
- Kaplan Diploma in Psychology with 2 years work experience; OR
- Other equivalent qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Applicants admitted to the programme may be required to undertake bridging modules to fulfil the required prerequisite knowledge.
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
English Language Requirements- GCE O-Level English language subject (Grade C6 and above); OR
- IELTS score of 6.5, with no component less than 6.0; OR
- Successful completion of an approved Diploma qualification or higher, where the language of instruction was English, can be considered.

Working ExperienceRecognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL)
- When required, work experience will be applied as part of the admissions process. Applicants seeking recognition of experiential learning are required to provide a portfolio of evidence in accordance with the University's RPEL policies and practices. Any work experience assessment and related admissions decisions will be conducted by the University and will, where appropriate, lead to the recognition of the achievement of learning outcomes and the award of University Credit.
