About the Programme
The Master of Laws in International Business Law meets the current demand for specialist knowledge and skills in a rapidly expanding field. The programme provides you with the opportunity to explore the legal regulation of the world of international business, and you will acquire knowledge and understanding of the aspects of substantive and procedural law.
The programme will also provide you with the opportunity to critically examine different systems of Law at a higher level. The critical analysis skills that you will develop while studying on this programme will enhance your employment opportunities in the legal and business sectors, as well as enabling you to acquire a strong basis for progression to doctoral studies.
The Master of Laws in International Business Law aims to develop your ability in analysing and evaluating the principal features of international business law. You will study the major concepts, values, principles and rules that dictate the discipline. You will communicate complex and abstract ideas in an articulate and confident manner, as well as learning a host of transferrable skills that will stand you in good stead for when it comes to securing employment.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Laws in International Business Law from Birmingham City University, United Kingdom.
The Master’s Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

- Other qualifications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.

GSTAll fees indicated are inclusive of Goods and Services Tax (GST) at the prevailing rate. The prevailing GST rate until 31 December 2022 is 7%. From 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023, the GST rate will increase to 8%. From 1 January 2024, the GST rate will increase to 9%.
