About the Programme

Engineers and engineering skills are highly sought after across numerous sectors worldwide. The Master of Science Engineering Business Management programme is tailored to provide the essential knowledge and skills needed for an exciting career in advanced technology.
The programme aims to equip students with specialised operational and strategic knowledge, preparing them to become future leaders in the field. It also delves into the understanding of environmental and sustainability issues, which are increasingly important for any senior leader in today’s context.
Students will explore the key elements underpinning strategic management, including the management of human, financial and physical resources. The curriculum covers vital areas such as agile manufacturing and project management, ensuring a comprehensive education in both the managerial and technical aspects of Engineering Business Management.
Graduation & Degree Awarded
Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Science Engineering Business Management from Aston University, United Kingdom.
The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

Minimum Class Size-
17 students
Class may commence with fewer students than indicated above, subject to resource availability. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified at least 1 week before the programme commencement date, stated in your student contract with Kaplan, and our consultants will contact you to advise on a backup plan.

The Master of Science Engineering Business Management programme consists of 10 modules. This programme may be completed in 12 months on a part-time basis. The following modules are covered in the programme:

Admission CriteriaAcademic Requirements
The Master's Degree programme accepts one of the following qualification:
- Degree in any discipline; OR
- Other qualifications will be assessed on case-by-case basis and the final decision rests with the University.
English Language Requirements- GCE O-Level English Grade C6 or better; OR
- IELTS score of 6.5 overall with min 6.0 in all other bands; OR
- An equivalent English language qualification recognised by Aston University. Click here for more information.
Working Experience- Matured students: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience; OR
- Two years’ experience in an engineering post is an advantage.
In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.
