    The Master of Science Strategic Financial Management programme is designed to provide students with comprehensive financial knowledge and technical skills, laying the foundation for a successful and rewarding career in the financial sector. The programme enhances understanding in areas such as Asset Valuation, Corporate Finance, Risk Management Techniques, along with a focus on Advanced Corporate Finance, International Finance and Investment Management. These topics are presented to bolster analytical and quantitative skills.

    This engaging programme advances knowledge and understanding in finance, equipping students with a wide range of analytical and technical skills that are highly sought after by employers in the finance and banking sector. Upon completion, students will be well-prepared to undertake various financial roles in both private and public sector organisations. 

    The curriculum covers a broad spectrum of stimulating topics. Students will gain insights into the complex environment in which organisations operate and the financial implications thereof. The programme aims to develop a critical awareness and understanding of contemporary issues and theories relating to corporate finance, financial instruments and investments preparing graduates for the dynamic challenges of the financial world.

     

    Graduation & Degree Awarded

    Students who successfully complete and pass the modules stipulated in the programme structure will be awarded the Master of Science Strategic Financial Management from Aston University, United Kingdom.

    The Degree will be the same as that awarded to the on-campus graduates in the United Kingdom.

    • 17 students

      Class may commence with fewer students than indicated above, subject to resource availability. In the event of cancellation, you will be notified at least 1 week before the programme commencement date, stated in your student contract with Kaplan, and our consultants will contact you to advise on a backup plan.

  • Admission Criteria
    Academic Requirements

    The Master's Degree programme accepts one of the following qualification:

    • Degree in any discipline; OR
    • Other qualifications will be assessed on case-by-case basis and the final decision rests with the University. 
    English Language Requirements
    • GCE O-Level English Grade C6 or better; OR
    • IELTS score of 6.5 overall with min 5.5 in 1 band and min 6.0 in all other bands; OR
    • An equivalent English language qualification recognised by Aston University. Click here for more information. 
    Working Experience
    • Matured students: At least 30 years old with at least 8 years’ relevant working experience.

    In all cases, the final decision on admission to the programme rests with the University.

      Tuition Fee

      The total tuition fee covers university registration, lectures/tutorials/workshops and main assessments such as assignments/tests/examinations/projects (where applicable), programme materials in digital format, Degree (if earned) and transcript.

      (Nett programme fees listed above = Tuition fee of S$26,705 minus Inaugural Intake Grant of S$3,270*)

      The Student Development Fee covers the provision of a comprehensive range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the career and industry-readiness of Kaplan students, such as programmes aimed at improving interpersonal skills, technical and digital skills, as well as career advisory and job matching services.       Education Loan

      Choice of flexible repayment schemes available to suit your needs:

      • Standard Repayment: Pay your monthly instalments (principal and interest) once your loan is disbursed.
      • Partial Repayment: Pay partial instalments for up to 3 years or till the end of your programme, whichever is earlier. Standard monthly instalments (principal and interest) will commence thereafter.
      • Interest Servicing: Pay only interest for up to 3 years or till the end of your programme, whichever is earlier. Standard monthly instalments (principal and interest) will commence thereafter.
      • Flexible repayment tenure of up to 8 years.
